This update also launches our new News Center directly in LearningSuite. Going forward, we will regularly inform all team members and administrators about new features, product improvements, important changes and announcements related to LearningSuite.

This means you will no longer miss any relevant updates and can see directly in your LearningSuite what has changed and which new options are available to you.

We are kicking things off with our August update, featuring Event Planner 2.0, more flexible course access in bundles, new options for submissions, community polls and many other improvements.

Event Planner 2.0

The Event Planner has been completely revamped and now makes planning live calls, webinars and in-person events much more flexible.

New in Event Planner 2.0:

• Edit individual events: Events within a series can now be changed or deleted separately.
• New event creation: A clearer 3-step process including a direct preview.
• Flexible event links: Links can be displayed before, during and after an event. For live calls, you can specify how many minutes before the start the access link becomes visible.
• Also for in-person events: Events can be created without a live link and instead include, for example, directions, check-in or information links.
• More event details: Additional information and an agenda can be added directly to the event.
• Notifications: Email and push notifications for upcoming, rescheduled or cancelled events.
• Calendar synchronization: Connect the entire Event Planner via iCal with Apple Calendar, Google Calendar or Outlook.
• Mobile optimizations: Numerous improvements for smartphones and tablets.

Flexible Course Access in Bundles

With the new conditions for bundles, you can now control much more precisely when each course is made available to a Member. This allows even more complex learning paths and access logic to be mapped directly in LearningSuite.

New bundle conditions:

• Individual access: Courses can be made available depending on the date, membership duration or Member Properties.
• Dependent learning paths: Use completed lessons, course progress or passed exams as prerequisites for further courses.
• Consider access: Conditions can also depend on whether a Member is already in certain courses, groups or bundles.
• Combine multiple conditions: Different rules can be linked together and grouped into different rule groups.
• Flexible display: Until the conditions are met, courses can, for example, be locked or displayed with a corresponding notice.

This allows you to specify, for example: “Course 2 only becomes visible once Course 1 is at least 80% complete and the final exam has been passed.”

More Options for Submissions

Feedback on submissions becomes much more flexible: trainers and Members can now exchange more than just text, adding different media directly to comments.

New for comments on submissions:

• Images & files: Upload attachments directly in the comment.
• Video feedback: Record or add videos and share them directly with the submission.
• Audio feedback: Record voice messages and provide personal feedback.
• Everything in one place: Text and media remain directly with the respective submission and are clearly traceable for everyone involved.

This makes the submission feature even better suited for personal, detailed and practical feedback.

Community Polls

From now on, you can create your own polls directly in your LearningSuite Community to quickly gather feedback, opinions or votes from your Members.

These poll options are available:

• Single or multiple choice
• Time-limited polls
• Close polls manually
• Detailed results and vote distributions
• Images for individual answer options

This means that votes and feedback can now be collected directly where your community already interacts.

Improvements

• AI Agents have been optimized for smartphones and can be used more conveniently in full-screen mode on mobile devices.
• For Member Properties of the video type, videos can now be recorded directly via LearningSuite
• When copying answers from AI Agents, formatting is retained while internal references are automatically removed.
• Members' AI credit usage is now displayed more clearly, including available and unlimited limits.
• For date and time fields, the Member's time zone can now optionally be considered.
• Errors when creating and editing Member Properties are now displayed directly in the form.
• Member Properties, Dashboard widgets, and date and time selectors have been optimized for smaller displays.
• The Event Planner has been improved on mobile devices in terms of display, text wrapping and navigation.
• When navigating through linked courses, the button for returning to the original course remains permanently available.
• The display of the chatbot dialog has been improved on smaller screens.
• The notifications menu has been visually redesigned and made clearer. In addition, the filter for unread notifications has been improved.

Bug Fixes

• Bookmarks can now be deleted without issues even if a lesson has been moved in the meantime.
• Events can now also be created on mobile devices.
• Cancellation reasons are now also displayed in the Event Planner on smartphones.
• Rescheduled events once again reliably show the new date and time.
• On Sundays, the Event Planner no longer automatically jumps to the next calendar week.
• The Community homepage now always opens correctly in the mobile app.
• Changes to uploaded images and files are now immediately visible without needing to reload the page.
• Multiple-choice questions created by the AI Wizard can now be copied and pasted correctly.
• Repeated file uploads for Member Properties no longer cause the app to close on mobile devices.
• Missing or deleted AI Agents and Member Properties now display clear notice states.
• Member managers can once again assign courses directly via member management.
• Comments from trainers on highlighted text passages within text submissions are displayed correctly again.
• A clearer notice message is now displayed for locked courses.
