What's new in version 1.7?

This update is a thank you to our amazing customers who are pioneers in the e-learning segment and who help tens of thousands of people improve with their content.

You asked us for templates for setting up courses, wanted to be able to create content on your smartphone while on the go and to recover deleted content. And with precisely these features included in update 1.7, we wholeheartedly thank you for your great work and the amazing feedback we received.

Overview of changes:

Launch of LearningSuite Academy

With the LearningSuite Academy, we provide you with essential content to get the most value out of LearningSuite. Any user with access to the admin perspective can access the LS Academy.

We are launching the LS Academy with 3 courses:

• Become a LS professional in one hour: Here you'll learn the basics you need for LearningSuite.
• Content masterclass: Here you will learn how to produce effective content, increase member engagement and lots of additional tips & tricks.
• E-learning days: In this course, you will gain exclusive insights into the contents from our e-learning days.

Our Academy will be constantly expanded in the future, if you have any content ideas, feel free to send them to our support team.

Mobile device editor

The content editor has been optimised for mobile devices. Now it's possible to create content on the smartphone, change the order, add pages, record videos, and more.

This is ideal for editing content quickly. Note, however, that the full range of functions of the editor can only be accessed on PC devices.

New group: “All members”

There is now a general group that automatically includes all members. This allows you to activate a course or hub directly to all members without having to add the new members to a group.

Launch of the recommendation program

The LearningSuite LEARN & EARN program is exclusively for our customers and is designed to make it even more fun for you to RECOMMEND.

If you know someone who could use LearningSuite to elevate their services to the next level, click Learn & Earn in the admin dashboard and use our referral program for great rewards and commissions.

Link module

There is now an option to add modules that act as links. These links can either be content links to other courses, or static links that can lead to any website.

Global bin

With the bin, you can restore all content that you've deleted in LearningSuite for up to 60 days. Only owners have the option to permanently delete content from the trash. This ensures that important content cannot be deleted without the necessary access.

New icon picker 2.0

To make it easier for you to find the right icons, we have completely rebuilt the icon picker. With the tile view, you now have a much better overview of all available icons so that you can find the right icon more quickly.

We've also added 150 more icons so that you can choose the ideal icon for every use case. If you would like an icon that is not yet available, simply raise your request in the support chat.

Adding users is now even easier!

The popup for creating new users and the Excel import popup have been drastically optimised.

Instead of selecting groups and courses in a separate tab, you can now select all types of content in a clear tab layout as soon as you create new members.

Performance improvements

We've made some breakthrough optimisations under the hood to give you and your users an even smoother experience.

In concrete terms, this translates to:

• The statistics load significantly faster than before
• The loading speed of courses & modules is drastically faster than before

More improvements:

• Members can now see in the module overview whether there are files or submissions in lessons.
• The upload of content can now be canceled directly in LearningSuite.
• The editor preview now reflects the member perspective 1:1 and the multiple choice questions and blank texts are now simulated directly.
• Members can now also be filtered by course.
