Version 1.11: Exams, Course Changelog & New Languages
Version 1.11 is our biggest update yet. We are delighted to introduce over 10 new features and a completely new module type: the exam module. True to LearningSuite, we haven't built just any feature.
We have rethought the way digital exams are created, setting a new industry standard.
Overview of new features:
- New module type: Exams
- Course Changelog
- SSO (Single Sign-On)
- Exclude words from search
- "Coming soon" feature for Lessons
- Login device settings in the account
- Course visibility & indentable modules
- 3 new languages: Italian, Spanish, French
- Synchronization of Lesson and page titles
- Numerous further improvements
New module: Exams

In addition to the learning module, an exam module can now also be created in LearningSuite. This makes it possible to combine all types of assessments into one comprehensive exam submission.
Our ambition went beyond creating a simple standard multiple-choice quiz.
Our goal was to develop an exam editor versatile enough to enable the creation of complex university exams, while remaining so intuitive and self-explanatory that even simple assessments can be implemented in just a few minutes without prior instructions.
This was a challenging task, and to date, there is no exam tool on the market that meets these requirements and could have served as a source of inspiration for us.
But we did it. We are therefore delighted to introduce the exam feature in this video. Our most comprehensive feature yet:
Course Changelog

Changes in a new, not yet published Course version are now visually indicated by the pen icon. A detailed view of the changes within the latest version is now also available via the changelog. You can find it by clicking "Update Course" and then "View changes".
SSO (Single Sign-On)

Single Sign-On via OpenID Connect is now also supported. If you require Single Sign-On, please contact our support team via the HelpCenter.
Exclude words from search

In the settings under "Transcripts & Subtitles", you now have the option to remove words from search that should not be found.
"Coming soon" for Lessons

There is now a new option in the content drip for Lessons: "Coming soon". This allows you to show your Members Lessons that will be available in the future.
Your Members can enable notifications for these Lessons to be notified as soon as the Lesson is available. This way, your Members are always informed when relevant content has been published.
Login device settings in the account

In the account settings, you can now clearly see which devices have logged in to your LearningSuite account and, if necessary, log out devices with immediate effect should you notice suspicious activity.
Course visibility & indentable modules

Modules can now also be indented. This allows you to clearly distinguish sub-modules visually. This is also useful if you want to link to other related Courses using link modules.
And if you have a very large Course that links to several sub-Courses, you now also have the option to hide these sub-Courses in the Course settings.
This improves the User experience for your Members, as they now only have one Course that provides the structure and can be used for navigation, instead of finding several Courses on the Course Dashboard.
3 new languages (IT, FR, ESP)

In the platform settings, under the "Supported languages" button, it is now also possible to activate Spanish, French & Italian as platform languages.
And if you only use, for example, German as a language on your platform, you can also uncheck English as a supported language there. This removes all language selections in the platform, leaving only one platform language for all Users.
Important note: Spanish, French and Italian are currently still in beta. This means that the focus so far has only been on the accuracy of the Member view. All texts in the admin view were translated using artificial intelligence and may contain errors.
Synchronization of Lesson & page titles

The Lesson title is now synchronized with the page title of the first page by default. If you want a different title within the page, simply click the synchronization icon and synchronization will be disabled.
Further improvements:
- When creating a User, the language of the respective User can now be selected so that the login email is in the correct language
- Images in the image gallery can now be moved via drag and drop
- Images in the editor can now be cropped
- Several Actions & Triggers have been added to Zapier, such as deleting groups
- Thumbnail images can now also be cropped afterwards
- The microphone indicator in the video recorder has been optimized
- A search function has been added to the move pop-up to make it easier to find content
- In all places where Courses are displayed, they are now sorted by the configured Course order by default
- In the "Modules" tab, you can now also search for modules within folders
- Thumbnails can now be deleted
- The Groups & Bundle pop-up has been visually optimized
- Many illustrations have been optimized and adapted to a consistent standard
- Numerous further optimizations and improvements across the entire platform
We look forward to your feedback, which you can send us in our Facebook community or via chat in the HelpCenter.
Your LearningSuite Team!
