App for desktop & smartphone
You can now install LearningSuite as an app on both your desktop device (such as MacBook or Windows computer) and on your smartphone (Android or iPhone).
Smart phone: The next time you log in, a popup appears that offers you to install LearningSuite as an app. This allows you to experience LearningSuite in full screen mode on your smartphone.
desktop: Go to your account settings under Settings and click “Install app” to add LearningSuite to your desktop.
Thumbnail generator
Don't want to spend a lot of time designing an attractive thumbnail yourself?
We have the perfect solution for you: With our thumbnail generator, you can easily create an attractive thumbnail with just a few clicks. You have the choice: Use one of our three templates or create your own, which you can reuse for every course, module, and lesson.
The best thing about it? You can integrate your logos and platform colors into the thumbnails. If you change anything in your CI design in the future, all thumbnails will automatically adapt to the new logo or colors.
Here's how you can use the new feature:
In the “Upload image” section, which you can find in courses, modules and lessons, there is now the “Thumbnail Generator” button. Simply upload a title and image, and your professional thumbnail is ready.
Wondering which images are the best? We have a solution for that too - just use our Pexels integration:
Pexels integration
Pexels is a free stock photo platform that provides access to professional photos from photographers around the world.
These photos and videos are free to download and use for both commercial and personal projects, with no attribution required.
To make it even easier for you to find good photos, we've integrated Pexels directly into LearningSuite. In the “Upload image” section, which you can find in courses, modules and lessons, we've added another button titled “Stock Photos.”
From there, you have the opportunity to browse through a huge selection of pictures. With the search function, you can also search specifically for the photos you need.
Code element in page editor
Attention developers! With the new code element, you can finally insert code snippets with correct code highlighting.
We currently support the following programming languages:
- java
- Bash
- JSON
- python
- JavaScript
- CSS & HTML
With the highly visible “Copy” button, members can easily copy and paste the code where they want.
Checklist item
You have asked for it, so we implemented it for you: In the page editor, there is now also a new “checklist” element. This allows you to create a checklist for your members so that they can track and check off their progress, tasks or goals in a structured way.
8 new Zapier actions
We have added the following actions:
- Delete user
- Remove users from hubs
- Remove users from courses
- Remove users from bundles
